Privacy Policy & GDPR

GDPR Statement

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a privacy and data protection regulation in the European Union (EU) and will be enforceable from May 25 2018. The GDPR imposes new obligations on organisations that control or process relevant personal data and introduces new rights and protections for EU Individuals (data subjects). The GDPR applies to data processing carried out by organisations operating within the EU. It also applies to organisations outside the EU that offer goods or services to individuals in the EU.

The Dixie Grammar School takes its legal obligations about personal data and data protection very seriously, and we are working hard to ensure compliance in all areas of our business. We will be complying with the GDPR as a processor and controller of data and have been planning and developing a programme of works which will deliver what is required by the legislation. This involves working with our staff, suppliers and other 3rd party organisations to ensure they also meet these legal obligations.

The Dixie Grammar School have a number of policies that set out what we are doing or will be doing to meet our obligations and we will continue to develop policies and procedures as we work towards our GDPR goals.
